Our Residential Operations group has a very busy year ahead with the delivery of numerous projects. The newly created role of Manager, Field Operations will be a key member of the Customer Care Team, based at our Corporate Head Office in North York. Reporting to the Senior Director, Customer Experience, the Manager, Field Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Customer Care Field organization, spearheading the administration, scheduling, hiring and support of resources across all residential development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the adherence to operational processes at all sites to maintain maximum performance and productivity.
  • Project manage and own the setup of new site offices to ensure Teams have the necessary tools.
  • Assist and provide guidance to Site staff on technical matters and act as a Level 2 escalation point in emergency service situations.
  • Work closely with Construction, Start-up, Property Management, Sales and Décor staff and act as a lead in providing input for on-going enhancements to processes and reporting requirements.
  • Spearhead the performance management for site teams, providing timely feedback for improvement.
  • Coach Customer Care Teams, to support the development of employees.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in Arts or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of progressive management experience in a similar role with a proven ability to manage employees at various levels
  • Experience in the residential construction industry is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of Tarion and the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act
  • A flexible, upbeat and energetic attitude – a self-starter who can quickly build strong partnerships
  • Proven experience in people management including setting goals, providing feedback and evaluating performance
  • Superior planning, coordination and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • High degree of proficiency with technology
  • Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team atmosphere
