Between our residential and commercial divisions, Menkes is proud to have been the recipient of several awards this past Spring. These awards are a testament to our passion for outstanding design, quality customer service and industry-leading performance.

At the 2016 Annual BILD Awards, Menkes received the Best Model Home award for the Brian Gluckstein-designed model townhome at Pears on the Avenue. The BILD Awards celebrate excellence in the GTA’s new home and land development industry.

Menkes Property Management Services Ltd. was recognized at the 2016 BOMA Toronto Celebration of Excellence Dinner for 25 York Street and the Matheson/Kennedy Complex. 25 York Street won the Earth Award for being the highest scoring building in its category under the BOMA BEST program, recognizing excellence in environmental management in the real estate industry. The Matheson/Kennedy Industrial Complex won the Outstanding Building of the Year Award or TOBY Award, recognizing the buildings and the management team for contributing to the betterment of the industry. 25 York Street and Matheson/Kennedy are now eligible to move on to the BOMA Canada National Awards in September of this year.

A member of our Property Management team, Noah Gordon, was also recently celebrated by NAIOP at the REX Awards with the Developing Leader Award. Gordon, Director of Portfolio Management, won the award as a young professional under the age of 35 who has distinguished himself in his current role and shows great promise as a future leader in the commercial real estate industry.
