(Menkes), a Toronto-based, fully integrated real estate firm with a longstanding relationship with Toronto's Asian community,  today announced its continued support for the Yee Hong Foundation, and ongoing commitment to the organization's premier annual event, the Dragon Ball Gala.  A supporter of the annual event since 2010, Menkes will be a Dragon Level Sponsor at the 26th annual event, later this spring.

Menkes involvement in the Dragon Ball Gala demonstrates the company's to supporting both the organization, and its efforts to serve community members in need of care.

The Gala benefits the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation and is one of Toronto's premier galas, making regular appearances on BizBash Top 100 lists. Patrons at the event are greeted with a variety of exquisite cuisine in addition to a gourmet four course dinner. The silent and live auctions present guests with opportunities to acquire unique items or experiences.

The 2015 Gala also marks the 20th anniversary of the opening of the first Yee Hong Centre which has helped seniors lead dignified, independent and fulfilling lives. Yee Hong now serves over 3,000 seniors across the GTA on a daily basis and fulfills 200,000 service requests every year.

Highlights for the 2015 Gala include: Michelin star Chef Lai Wai Hung of Ah Hung's Delicacies from Hong Kong and will feature his award winning "lo shui" (marinated) Chinese dishes at the cocktail reception; 3 Michelin star Chef Alvin Leung of Bo Innovation from Hong Kong as well, will together with Canadian culinary reality show winner, Eric Chong will plan and execute the 4-course gala dinner. Canada's Queen of R & B music and Juno award recipient, Jully Black will be the featured gala performer.

The Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation is the fundraising, communications and public relations arm of the Yee Hong community. The Foundation raises all necessary funds to cover the operation expenses of services and programs of the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care and the capital to build new Centres as approved by the Board.
