MENKES UNVEILS BIRMINGHAM STREET PARKETTE AT LAKE & TOWN

Etobicoke, ON – June 21st 2025 – Menkes Developments Ltd (“Menkes”) is pleased to announce the official public opening of the Birmingham Street Parkette, located 265 Twelfth Street in South Etobicoke. The Birmingham Street Parkette boasts 2,700m2 and is located on the north side of the existing Lakeshore Village Park. The park was designed with the help of community feedback.

The Birmingham Street Parkette is intended to serve all residents and visitors of South Etobicoke featuring: a fitness station, ping pong and games tables, a seating area with a shade structure, a water bottle filler, new plantings and walking paths.

The park marks the completion of Menkes’ Lake & Town, a residential community consisting of over 200 homes.

In partnership with the City of Toronto, Councillor Amber Morley, and Members of Council, a grand opening party was held on Saturday June 21st with residents to celebrate the occasion.

The new Birmingham Street Parkette is now open to the public.
