UNVEILING MOBILIO'S LINEAR PARK IN SOUTH VMC

Vaughan, ON – October 20th 2025 – Menkes Developments Ltd (“Menkes”), and QuadReal Property Group (“QuadReal”) are pleased to announce the official public opening of Millway Avenue Linear Park, located on the corner of Interchange Way and Millway Avenue in South Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC). The Millway Avenue Linear Park is part of Vaughan’s Black Creek Renewal project. Once complete, the Black Creek Renewal will establish a series of promenades, plazas and parks, spanning over 30 acres.

The Millway Avenue Linear Park was designed thoughtfully and intentionally to serve all residents and visitors of VMC, featuring: an accessible playground, a custom basketball court with multiple rim heights for different age groups and skill levels, a gathering space with a shade structure and moveable seating, and open greenspace.

Menkes and QuadReal have been the most active developers in VMC, with over 5,200 residential units built, under construction, and pre-selling. The partners recently completed Mobilio, VMC’s first mixed-density residential community with three mid-rise condominium towers (750 units), 400 townhouses, and now Millway Avenue Linear Park all in one site.

In partnership with the City of Vaughan, Mayor Steven Del Duca, Members of City Council, Members of Provincial and Federal Parliament, and South VMC residents, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Sunday, October 19 to celebrate the occasion.

The new Millway Avenue Linear Park is now open to the public.
