Menkes Honoured with Five BILD Awards

Menkes took home the hardware and won 5 Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) Awards, including three of the industry's most prestigious honours: Project of the Year-Mid/High-Rise for The Whitfield, the coveted People's Choice Award for The Whitfield, and Best New Community, Planned/Under Development for Bravo.

Located at the corner of Front and Sherbourne in Toronto's St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood, The Whitfield is a 39-storey, 484-unit tower that blends modern design with historic context. Its sculptural curved façade, horizontal masonry ribbons, and terracotta-toned fins create a striking presence that speaks to the street, the neighbourhood, and the city skyline all at once.

Bravo is a multi-faceted mixed-use community designed to integrate seamlessly into the fabric of the evolving and rapidly growing VMC. Bravo’s three towers contain 1,654 residential units, at grade retail, a pedestrian mews, and a privately-owned public space, known as POPS. It will feature a range of indoor and outdoor amenities, open spaces and an animated retail promenade, which will include eclectic bistros, cafes, and shops. Bravo marks the second phase of the Company’s Festival brand, the largest mixed-use development in the heart of the burgeoning Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (“VMC”), and Canada’s best-selling community in 2020 and 2021.
